New England Scent Dogs is a small business located in Massachusetts that is focused on hosting training events for K9 Nose Work enthusiasts.

Anne & Rockit, first NW1 trial
NESD is owned and operated by Anne Steciw, a K9 Nose Work enthusiast and competitor. Anne started New England Scent Dogs because she wanted to bring more opportunities for fellow enthusiasts to participate in the sport.
Anne has been a member of the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) since 2010, and has competed in over 30 official NACSW K9 Nose Work trials with her dogs. She and her dog Rockit were the first team on the east coast to reach NW3 Elite and were qualified to compete in the 2014 and 2015 NACSW Nationals. Her other dog Spiffy has earned two NW3 titles, along with his L1I and L1E. He is still competing at the age of 14.
NESD’s goal is to host K9 Nose Work mock trials, Sniff & Gos and classes at a variety of “real-world” locations, giving dog and handler teams a chance to practice their skills without the cost and pressure of an official trial. NESD is also looking to host more officially sanctioned trials and element specialty trials. The journey continues!
